I am an artist based on the south coast of England, inspired daily by the shifting moods of the sea. Working in both oil and watercolour, I explore the restless dialogue between light, shadow, and water. My seascapes are an attempt to capture not just a view, but an atmosphere — the quiet pull of a tide, the glimmer of reflected sky, the fleeting moments when colour and light transform the familiar shoreline.
Through careful attention to reflection, contrast, and movement, I aim to evoke an emotional resonance in the viewer. Each painting is a meditation on place and presence, shaped by the ever-changing coastal environment I call home. Ultimately, my work seeks to offer a space of stillness and connection, inviting others to experience the sea as I do: full of depth, memory, and shifting light.
